Midwest City, OK is a city located in the Oklahoma County of the US state of Oklahoma. It is known for being a politically active community that focuses on the growth and well-being of its citizens. The city council consists of seven members who are elected by the public, each serving for four years. The mayor serves as head of government and executive for the city and is elected to serve a four-year term. The current mayor is Kenneth Jargstorf who was first elected in 2017 and won reelection in 2021. Here at BestPlaces, we were looking at the voting patterns since the 2000 election and realized that we could express the results of each election as one letter. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
