Hood River, OR is a small city located in the Columbia River Gorge region of Oregon. It is known for its stunning views and outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and boating. The city is home to a diverse population of approximately 7,600 people who are predominately white. With regards to politics, Hood River has been consistently represented in the Oregon State Legislature by Representative Mark Johnson and Senator Chuck Thomsen since 2005. Locally, the city elects four members to the City Council which includes Mayor Paul Blackburn and Councilors Rich McBride, Kenneth Outlaw and Jan Veldhuisen Virk. They work together to ensure that important decisions are made that benefit all citizens of Hood River. The City Council meets regularly each month to discuss issues that affect the community such as public safety, economic development, affordable housing and local infrastructure projects. In addition to these important duties, the City Council also provides support for various non-profits and organizations within the community.

R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won.
