Fremont is a very good city actually.
The construction is very nice even for the bay area. Everything is in walking distance.

The parks and recreation is totally irrelevant to being anything special. The police usually better things to do. But it's pretty darn safe. But don't dress very color coded.
The Hindu people are very nice. There's allot of brotherly love here and all you need is to be open to that. And you will find plenty care and hospitality.
It has a superficial following and money or stature related ignorance. We do have filth where you would least expect it.. And the hospital is very capitalist.
People here are pretty tame and it can be very separatist in ethnic crowds but usually respect goes a long way around here. Warm Springs and Mission district is a little separatist.
But the more central portions are fair. It's not an outstanding character of community togerness or accomplishment but it's definitely one of the more

Not That Good Anymore
- 5/6/2018
Until recently, I had lived in Fremont since the 1990's. It's very different now. The charm is gone. I liked Fremont up to about 2010 or so. Today, Fremont is just too crowded and expensive, and there's never been as many homeless as there are now. The City of Fremont Council sold out to developers!! High density housing is all over the city. IMO and many others I know, the overdevelopment is the main reason why Fremont lost its charm. Fremont used to have things to do, like a roller rink, and miniature golf. Not much to do here for fun anymore. That being said, Fremont is not an awful place, but it's just nowhere near as nice as it was.

My hometown!
- 7/25/2017
I grew up in Fremont and as a kid, I never took the time to appreciate just how awesome the place was. It's suburbia. So it can be boring at times. Junior high and high school were also nightmares. BUT, as I grew older I started to appreciate the city a lot more. I went to Ohlone and had a great experience. My childhood friends are still some of the best people I know.
Fremont is very very very safe. It's also pretty health and eco conscious. To this day, I've never seen a town with more Prius or Teslas per capital. It's also a very wealthy town. Many residents have high incomes. Most work as tech professionals, Doctors, Lawyers, Nurses, teachers, and other professional careers.
People are friendly. In the past 10 years or so, we've had a huge population boom. Traffic is getting really bad and summers are getting hotter. They revitalized Newpark mall and built new shopping centers. There are condos popping up all over the place. Fremont is beginning to feel

The crime rates in Oakland and San Francisco are horrendous, especially property crimes. Fremont is clearly one of the best areas here in terms of low crime
