San Diego overall is a great place to live. The climate is the most perfect in the USA with beautiful beaches, homes, and overall nice people. The catch is you better have made your money elsewhere and not trying to start out there. A home will cost you at least $500,000;wages are not necessarily keeping up with the cost of living, and unless you are an immigrant from a foreign country, don't expect the state to help you too much with services. I made $40,000 last year and I barely survive in a one room dump with my son. If you are single, the beach trend is full of parties, drugs and alcohol, bleach blonde girls a size six. Lots to meet, but open your wallet wide. Think about the big picture other than the year round tan.
