12/13/2010otherI did my final semester of student teaching at this school and loved every moment of it. The staff is very caring and welcoming, and exceptionally knowledgeable in their field. My experience is that the teacher I was working with was not only a wonderful first grade teacher, but a fabulous mentor teacher. Best experience of my life!
4/18/2009parentSartorette has exceeded our previously high expectations in many ways. Our children have only attended K-2 thus far, but we can state that all of the teachers are creative and effective at creating an enjoyable but challenging learning experience. Each teacher seems to bring a unique perspective (music, science, art) that introduces a fun theme into their class and field trips. Our daughter's interest in science, art and history has really grown as a result of field trips and creative in-class experiences. Parent participation is very high as well.
6/9/2008parentWe have enjoyed our kindergarten experience at this school. I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of extra 'fun' things that the school does to make it a fun family oriented school. The families in the community seem very involved and their is a sense of family about the school. As with any large group of people, there can be some cliquish behavior among parents and teachers but overall the school is a very friendly and welcoming environment. The school offers extras like art, music, motor skills, spanish and science that I know are lacking in other curriculms. It will be interesting to see how the school changes now that the current principal is retiring.
5/23/2008parentWe have been thrilled with our daughter's kindergarten experience. There is a wonderful school community, great teachers and staff.
4/23/2008parentSartorette is one of the best school you can find. Mr Wendell and the teaching staff are amazing. My two childrens experience at Sartorette was excellent.
12/4/2007parentMy son seems to be enjoying time at Sartorette. One thing that I like about Sartorette is that it is providing the after-school program (no. of student is limited), where the students should finish homework first and then do some projects or play with other kids. I am very happy with Sartorette.
10/20/2007parentI have two boys at Sartorette School. They have always had excellent Star test scores and I attribute that to their teachers. I do feel the primary teachers put in more time and effort that the upper grade teachers, but that may be because of class size. Overall I have been very happy at Sartorette and look forward to Price Middle School next year!
7/23/2007parentI have my son in second grade last year. The Cambrian Park School district are doing well. The school buildings are kept up well. I am very comfortable with the teacher my son had last year. The principal seems very enthusiastic. The school district also offers after school curriculum for limited number of students at the school so kids can spend time at school after their classes are finished. Overall, I am very satisfied with what this school offer so far.
5/6/2006teacherSartorette School is a wonderful place for kids. The dedicated staff puts in extra effort each day to provide many learning opportunities. It is also a very safe school for your child.
11/3/2003teacherI understand that some parents have personality conflicts with some teachers on staff at Sartorette, however as a former teacher there I can assure you that all of the teachers are desirable. They are all extremely hard-working and dedicated individuals. They put the children and their education first.
11/1/2003parentThis is one of the only schools my kids attended that I can say I really liked! The principal, Mr. Wendell is the best you will ever find. My kids had some really great teachers at this school as well as a few lousy ones. This school is in the Cambrian District which by the way is a wonderful district.
8/21/2003parentMy daughter has attended Sartorette Elementary School for 5 years now, and her yearly STAR test results have always been scored as above average, which I beleive are contributed to her willingness to learn. I've had no real complaints about the teachers, but there are a few less desired ones. The office staff is awesome and always willing to listen and help when needed. Mr. Wendell is awesome too!!!
