I know that the school as approached this matter and nothing is helping. I know several students who have been or are currently being bullied in this school. |

Most of her admin staff has it together a few of them ignore you and are rude too. The teachers are pretty good and show they care. I only came accross a couple that are seriously in the wrong profession. |

| 1/7/2008 | parent | My son is part of the ESE program, in 6th grade it was a good program, the ESE teacher followed his classes then he had a period with that teacher to work on homework and anything my son might not have picked up on thru the day. This year there is a different teacher in every class, but it seems like the 2nd teacher is there to help handle the mass amount of kids instead of focus on the kids in the ESE program. |

They scholl always have fun meetings for the kids and the parents so the teachers can get to know to know the parents better. This is my second year here and I have enjoyed so much. They have various of acedemic, sports and art programs for us students. They acdemic goal has to be set to high standards but not the highest. They are tough but they work with the students to help them suceed. I hope this review gave you good thoughts about Neptune. |

| 4/8/2006 | parent | I am satisfied with NMS. The grade level teams work together in an organized way, making it easy to set up conferences and communicate. Hands on projects are part of the curriculum and there are opportunities for parents to get involved. I would like to see the art program and the daily updating of all homework lines improved, but I'm grateful that they have these at all. The school is very organized, prompt to respond when you call with a concern, and most office staff is friendly. |

I was quickly put at ease by the front office staff, and one year later I brag to everyone who wants to know about what a great school NMS is. The teachers really care about the students and contact me if they have concerns about my son, they encourage parents to do the same with the teachers. I am impressed with how safe the school is and the discipline policies and procedures in place. Keep up the good work Neptune Middle School! |

The field trips that are offered are very excellent and educational. You may be involved as much or as little as you want. Of course they encourage you to get involved in many ways. |

The discipline policy is too hard on the children, my daughter (a sixth grader) got after school detention constantly, for everything, including forgetting her homework, or me not signing her agenda. I told them I am a single mom and couldn't pick her up after detention, but they kept her anyway and then just let her out, she walked a mile to an apartment complex to find someone to let het use the phone! The teachers would not return my phone calls or letters. The campus is not a friendly environment, a lot of the kids are mean bullies. |
