| 1/28/2011 | other | I am the Grandmother of a First Grade student this school. He has only been in attendance for approximately one month, and has already received an achievement award. This is very impressive. I would like to give credit to the sponsers and teachers of AR Program. Building a strong foundation in our elementary level students is vital to their confidence throughout their teens and beyond. Thank you and may God bless you! |
| 7/19/2008 | parent | Im a parent and my kids go to this school and its an excellent school. The teachers are very nice all the staff is very nice and i would recomend this school |
| 6/24/2008 | parent | I am the parent of a 6 year old. This will be her second year at Chickasaw. I think Chickasaw is a very good school. This year they did a lot of fun activities to motivate the students and their families. Chickasaw has great special area teachers like Mrs. Molina that is a very creative music teacher. Chickasae is focused on the children's academics and I think that they try to do the best that they can. |
| 7/22/2007 | parent | I am the mother to a child that has ADHD and also had poor speech. His first years in Chickasaw, were from kindergarten to third grade. I have been more then please with all of their staff and more. They kept me inform in all involving my child learning and what I can do to help him along the way . I am very grateful to Mrs. Henderson, Mrs. Huddleston and Mr. Robello these teacher along with other staff members were a great influence to my son and they left a great impression in our lives. I can not thank them enough, my son loves and miss them. Unfortunately we had to move otherwise he'll still be there. Thank you ....Carmen and Giovanni |
| 4/19/2007 | parent | I am the parent to a third grader that attends Chickasaw.I do not like the fact that this school does not have alot of fun activities for the children.I do not like that they do not have school plays or anything of the like. The women that work at the front desk are unhelpful. The assistant principal is very nice and very helpful.I think they could learn to have more fun while learning to make things more interesting. |
| 9/19/2006 | parent | I am the parent of 3, my eldest started chickasaw in kindergarten, she is now in 6th. I have seen many changes at chickasaw. I must say that I do miss Mrs. Pinder and Dr. Miller. There are too many teachers leaving, what does that say? Has anyone else noticed? It's very sad that we don't have parental involvement with the PTA, I've seen many parents involved with their respective classes but on an overall (PTA meetings, bookfair, walk-a-thon etc.) very poor. We need to let our children know we care now not later when it's too late. Now's the time they can be taught to love school, let's take advantage and educate them properly. concerned parent |
| 7/24/2006 | parent | I am very blessed and grateful that my son is part of this school, he is going to second grade, since he started on kindergarden is being a great experience, the cooperations from the teachers and the patience with my son it was very good. My son was very motivated and his improvement was excellent, I thank the staff and the principal for a great school. Ivelisse Vazquez |
| 2/23/2006 | parent | I have been a subsitute teacher at Chikasaw Elementary and every time I went there I did enjoy how clean and well organize this small school is. They have wonderful teachers and staff. And very important kids are well discipline and safe. Ruth M. |
| 1/11/2006 | parent | My daughter is currently in first grade and she loves everything about the school. I have never had any problems with the school and think that its a A+ school to have any child attend. Academics are number one in her class and everything else comes later. Her teacher is Ms. Schiffermiller and she's wonderful, the school's very good about keeping parents up to date on what's going on and events that will be taking place. If you're looking for a school Chickasaw Elementary is a well rounded organized school that any child would love to attend and any parent would love to have as thier childs school. |
| 8/7/2005 | parent | This will be my son's second year going to Chickasaw Elem. and my daughters first year. My son loved his school and the teacher involvement is wonderful there. I would not change their schools for anything. Good luck everyone. |
| 5/24/2005 | parent | I have had three children at Chickasaw for the last 5 years. Over these years I have seen many changes in teachers and Administration. The 2004-2005 has turned out to be the best yet. The teachers are wonderful and really try to teach the kids all they can with what they have from year to year. The academic's in this school is one of the best I have seen. They offer many different options for the children. There is help for our children if we just keep asking.. The music, art, pe, computers, and Media are well rounded at chickasaw. They try to get all kids a chance to experience these activites. Parent involvement was low in the past few years but as this last year has come and gone I have seen many teachers and staff members enjoying parent involvement again and welcoming parents back in to school. Thank you |
