| 8/22/2012 | parent | My daughter has done preschool and kindergarten here. She is now going into first grade here as well. My daughter likes this style of learning. She can choose what she wants to work on and can work on it all day long if she needs to. Most of the day is child-led, but there are teacher-led lessons as well. The only thing I don't like is this school is very disorganized. I always feel like I have no idea what is going on. I understand its a small school, so if they need to tell you something, its done as you're picking up your kid. However, sometimes they get rushed getting kids out the door and things are forgotten. The school has not stepped into the 21st century... email? What's that? |
| 2/13/2012 | parent | Both of my children are at this school and I have been very pleased. My kids love going to school there. I have been pleased and impressed with the education they have received. |
| 12/15/2011 | parent | I have been very disappointed. There's very little feedback I got from the teachers. Every time I ask how my daughter is doing, they just tell me she's doing fine. However, they are quick to tell you all the wrong things she has done. At first I thought it was just the teacher in my daughter's class but I sadly learned that the problem lies with the administration. The school in general is disorganized. They plan things last minute all the time. They're so focused on recruiting more students, they don't realize that taking care of the ones they have is better marketing. Horrible horrible school. A disservice to the Montessori philosophy! |
| 8/8/2009 | parent | Excellent staff. Ms. Kerry Lydon is more than excellent ( you will never find a better teacher any where). The school is too good to be truth. The only negative thing is that is only up to 3rd grade, but it's worth it. |
