| small town, needs a little growth, but OK. - 3/16/2023
I've lived here for just over a year. Had I known then what I know now, I probably would not have moved here.
Here are my observations:
1. Cost of living here is crazy high! (unless you are comparing to California, or the NW)
2. I'm conservative. This is a great place for that! so anyone who comes here from "progressive" states thinking they will change this place and turn it into the mess they left, will not be welcome here.
3. The climate here is not all that great. But it is better than phoenix! the wind blows ALL the time! and winter time it is freezing cold!
4. Not much in the way of shopping. We go once a month into Vegas to do our major shopping.
5. Not much to do for entertainment. There is the lakes, and if you 4x4 then there is that, and certain times of the year you can hike before it gets too hot. Winter so far has been crazy! There is Laughlin about a 1 hour away.
6. Very little in the way of any good employment!
7. LOTs of retired people and snow birders. Old folks doddling around, so have your patience on.
8. the roads in and out of town are terrible! and the ADOT claim they do not have the funds to fix them, even tho they keep saying there is going to be a interstate 11 put in... been saying that for 10 years.
9. Lastly, the one good thing I have to say is most of the local people are nice and friendly. I find that most of the long time "local" I have met are cowboy red neck types.
Hey and its desert! lots of brown, cactus, and sun, and everything wants to poke or bite you here!

| Kingman - community, conservative - 7/5/2022
You have to know what you are signing up for when you move to a place like Kingman. I’ve lived all over the country and in many big cities. Prior to Kingman we lived in a small, rural, mountain town in California that didn’t resemble anything about California.
Kingman has a small town vibe but is growing. There is a lot of home construction and people moving in to escape some of the craziness of the last few years and looking for a place that respects our freedoms as citizens of this country. Many locals don’t like this because 1. They don’t want the town to grow to big, we don’t want it to become another “city”. 2. They don’t want people from other places coming in and trying to change everything to be like the place they escaped from. I tend to agree with both.
There’s just enough here to have all your essential needs covered. If you want Target, you’ll drive 45-60 minutes. Vegas is about 1.5 hours. Grand Canyon west is less than 1.5 hours. There is beauty and wildlife all around you. People are generally kind, there is a sense of community here and if the going gets rough, we will stick together and look out for one another. Arizona is a right to carry state, you’ll see a lot of people carrying their pistols in the grocery store. If that bothers you don’t move here. I feel rather safe seeing law abiding citizens exercising their right to carry.
You’ll notice some pan handler types around the exit ramps and sometimes at the entrances to parking lots like Walmart. This town is off the 40 and the 66. Lots of passerby’s and vagabond types will
Make there way through town. I don’t love that, it is what it is. At one point I lived on an area of CA with million dollar homes and peoples homes are being broken into left and right there. Cars are being stolen daily. Catalytic converters being cut off non stop. It’s literally happening everywhere. Crime is bad right now, we all know why.
If you are looking for small town life, in a more conservative area where you can live more freely, and have less government involvement in your life, it’s a nice place.
If you think Biden is doing a great job, you won’t be happy here. Stay where you are.

| Love it - 5/30/2022
Moved here about 6 months ago from Temecula Ca. Overall…..love it! Low stress easy lifestyle. People are really nice here, very polite and kind. Not the prettiest people but…really nice. Bought a nice home in the Hualapai’s and the weather is perfect for me. Lots of nature. Town is older but it’s pretty clean no graffiti. Panhandling on the corners is common as the drug problem exists here like anywhere but it’s easier to see. I feel way safer here than In California. I always carried my gun in Ca here I don’t really worry about it. Much safer small town feel. Much cheaper to live here than Ca! $ goes further and far less stupid rules to live by. So far I’ve found pretty much everything we have needed for shopping. It’s quieter here and peaceful. Yeah lots of out of shape smokers but who cares that’s how they want to live none of my business. If you want to live in a nanny state this isint the place for you, if you want to live like it was in Ca in the 60’s than you will like it here. People drive the speed limit here much less of a rushed pace. Don’t get involved in local politics and drama and you won’t need to worry about much here. There is some resentment and whining towards people coming here with $ to retire and driving home prices up, boo hoo welcome to the real world. I only went 4 stars because infrastructure needs some work but it’s happening as money is flooding into Kingman. Businesses are doing well and it’s growing. Investing in real estate here is a good idea values are going up rapidly. I have to say the people here are the best. Honestly they may not be as polished as your used to but they are honest and helpful and kind. I hear people complain about the schools but….had to take my kids out of public school in Ca because of rampant drugs, crimes and racism with no penalties since Ca no longer enforces laws or suspends anyone.
Being a conservative law abiding respectful person I find that this is a really nice fit for me and my family.

| Loving it here! - 3/4/2021
I am in my mid-twenties and moved to Kingman from CA about 4 years ago and haven't looked back. Yes, it is a small town but there is a lot of growth and we are near big cities like Las Vegas, Phoenix, Lake Havasu, etc. The cost of living is great, taxes are cheap, and the people are very kind!

| Which is it? - 1/26/2021
*** disclaimer: I’ve NEVER been to Kingman ***I just can’t figure out the reviews - more than most places I’ve looked at and they seem to be either “Kingman is hell” or “Kingman is a nice town”. What the...? Why so polarized?

| Not percent. - 1/3/2021
I have no problems with living here. Though for older people there might be. There a extreme shortage of doctor and specialist here. Be for warned before moving here. There really not a lot for children here. Bowling alley is about it. and if you can afford the high end toys for your kids. For other's it take two parents to work. and still barely making it. Also they need more business up in Kingman. Target, Loews, Kohls. Know that JC penny is closing Plus the drugs up is very bad and the homeless population is bad. So be for warned. This place is not perfect. Though I call it home.

| Overall good city, but needs some upgrade!! - 9/20/2020
We recently moved here to retire, bought nice home up in hills away from town, and away from big city. Pro’s: Kingman has all town feel, people in neighborhood & town very friendly, close 1 1/2 hours Vegas or Lake Havasu for recreation/ camping, ie. Con’s: Low availability shopping, high traffic off Stockton road, and pan handlers, even when there are many PT jobs posted windows of stores & restaurants where they’re holding up signs - crazy. Overall, good place and appears to be growing daily.. Needs few more stores: Target, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden, Lowe’s, ie. City planner needs work on eliminating “too many big signage billboard style” in front of every business in town.. looks like crap from the street view.. Hey Mayor.. FYI..

| Love Kingman - 6/7/2020
Move here in April 2020 and could not be happier.
I did see the Henderson post about how the area was degrading. Well, it sure was going down hill. Also the home owners association was an out of control dictatorship. I just wanted out. Taxes will double or triple over the next three years in Clark County due to the construction of the football stadium in Las Vegas. The brain dead politicians did not account for road construction and highway ramps to accommodate motorists going to events at the stadium. Highway construction is not cheap. I did renovations to train stations in the 1990s, 2000s but had a budget so it did not impact ridership fares. Also, Henderson just gave away prime land to allow the Raiders to have a training facility. The land in proximity to Rte 15 - St. Rose Pkwy could have been sold and become a cash cow in rateables. No, this place is great. My dog loves it and when I walk the dog, people will actually talk to you in Kingman. In Henderson, or Clark County people would avoid eye contact and never engage in conversation.

| Not a good place to live - 1/9/2020
I lived in Kingman since 1978 and Kingman has grown quite a bit but not in a good way. It’s a horrible place raise children, housing costs tripled but not the wages. I will start with why this town isn’t good for raising children, after all the years there is still no activities for children, unless your wealthy enough to buy toys such as horses, ATV’s otherwise the only other activities are playing softball in 100+ degrees, church activities. A family can’t even go to the lake without it costing to go, it was $ 5.00 a car load to go to Lake Mohave now it’s $20.00. We cannot even enjoyed the nature resource of the Haulapai mountains without a cost, who ever heard of charging a fee to get cool in the mountains. The wages in Kingman are a joke along with the costs of housing, how does a family afford a decent home when their wages at most is 50,000 a year with both spouses working. People will say Arizona & Kingman is cheaper to live, it’s wrong, it may not costs in property taxes, but it costs in so many other ways. As soon as my husband & I can move we are going to. I encourage any young educated person to move out while you can before you are stuck like I was.

| Please Don't Do This, Saving Money Is Not Worth It - 9/20/2018
My wife and I moved here from the Midwest for 2 reasons. One, because as a critical needs hospital they would pay for her to finish her NP school, a cost I was willing to allow them to pay. We also came out for the cheaper cost of living, unfortunately with cheap comes many other costs. The hospital (essentially 3 men) own every facet of this town. The town is run by the Mormon temple who are exceptionally greedy at the expense of the residents. There are few amenities here, but not for any other reason than that the "good ole boys club" does not want the town to grow. There is nothing to do here unless you travel 1 to 3 hours away. The schools are littered with cockroaches and if you do some research KUSD has an F rating for education. There is no infrastructure and what buildings exist are falling apart. It has been tough for my wife and I to meet people as half the population are former inmates while the other half are addicted to meth. 90 percent of the population is either on disability or social security. The hospital is atrocious and will bill insurances incorrectly on purpose for more money. The average person has to weigh 300 pounds, smoke a pack a day, have 2 satanic tattoos and have 4 children from 3 different sources (of which one is locked up). I'm a happily married man but because I'm in shape and have all of my teeth I cannot walk 5 feet in this town without a woman single or married offering me sex. It's a small town so between my ring and general knowledge they should know I'm not interested but they simply don't care. The high school graduation rate is well below national standard as many hillbillies here drop out between 6 and 8th grades. It's a transient community as you have bikers and truckers in and out of here all the time creating homeless and drug problems. The government is so corrupt that they don't even try to hide it. Last year they took 100k of taxpayer money and invested in a golden statue of a turtle and a Route 66 sign to "spruce up tourism." The problem is no one cares about Route 66 and the area the "artwork" sits in is surrounded by crumbling infrastructure and trailers that would do a Toby Keith music video justice. My wife and I just accomplished what we set out to do after 3 years, but man what a long 3 years. We get to go home to the Midwest successful but this place tested us to our max.

| Great views, and affordable place to live. - 7/30/2018
I have lived in Kingman for 2 years and like it. It has enough shopping and events to keep us busy. There are alot of new houses and businesses going up. It is not a big city, but it does have 4 grocery stores plus a super Walmart. Lots of restaurants to choose from fast food and mom and pop types along with chains like I-Hop, Chili's, and Golden Corral. For shopping we have Ross, Maurice's, JC Penney, 99 cent store, many dollar stores, payless shoes, and a couple of chain pet stores. The weather and views are great. We are cooler then Phoenix and LHC. Kingman is a mixed bag. Older nice homes and many newer homes priced in the 200,000- 400,000 dollar range as well as smaller homes and trailer parks. Kingman does have "Panhandlers" I have also seen the "panhandlers" when in Lake Havasu, Bullhead, and Phoenix. This problem is not exclusive to Kingman. Most of the people are friendly and many transplants from California. Plenty to do here. Hualapai mountains are great for escaping the heat, and enjoying hiking or a picnic in the pine trees. Some things we have enjoyed are: Chillin’ on Beale Street:
The monthly car show and block party in the downtown area on the third Saturday of each month from April through October, drawing classic car enthusiasts. Nice evening getting something to eat and walking around down town. Lots of antique stores to check out too. Craft shows in the Hualapai mountains, Route 66 museum, Downtown Kingman's First Friday: For this event they will have the usual pop-up parks, a family splash zone with eco-friendly water play good for all ages, lots of food and drink options, and more! Drive–In Theater Night: Movies will take place downtown at Southside Park in the lower parking lot near baseball field #2 and the Animal Shelter. Concessions will be available. Raffles, pre-movie music and other events. Sounds of Kingman: Free concerts 1x mos.at Metcalfe Park. Archery Competition, BMX Racing both at the Mohave county fairgrounds. 1x per month they have a meet & greet. Open to the general public, at this event you will have a great community networking opportunity, learn about association projects, Author Jim Hinckley will be speaking about the second European Route 66 Festival. This is sponsored by Route 66 Association. Saturday morning farmers market, Andy Devine days in September with a rodeo at the fairgrounds. Summer reading program at the library and Summer Wildlife Series - Amphibians & Reptiles of AZ, Stockton Hill Craft Fair & Swap Meet, Brews and Brats Oktoberfest October 2018, Black Bridge brewery has events often like Bark & Brews, and 5th Anniversary Glow Party. Desert diamond distillery, Cella winery, Stetson winery, Grand Canyon Caverns, southwest Alpacas. This is just some of the things we have done. I know there are more. I always laugh when people say there is nothing to do. Plus you can always drive to LHC, Bullhead, Laughlin. Always something happening. Not to mention the hiking you can do. You won't be bored unless you choose to be. You can also go to the visitors center and pick up lots of info about the area and things to do like the Bonneli house, RR Museum, historic downtown tours (given by Jim Hinkley), Mohave County Museum. In closing some people only see the negative. Plenty of good people in this town with a mix of what I call "characters"

| KEEP THE PEDAL TO THE METAL - 5/16/2018
Wow where do I start. Cops who kill their police animals and they just buy them a new one to kill again. A resident has a dog or cat which the city feels they are not taken care of enough go to jail for 3 years.
KMRC A middle eastern owned hospital with misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis. The chief cardiac doc have to have bypass he had himself flown to Phoenix for care. The hospital just completed a large addition , a bigger morgue NO JOKE. The hospital has a helicopter pad to fly people to las vegas for care since no doctor on staff can preform the most basic tasks like a cut finger they take it off verses sewing it back on. a car crash at a red light with neck injuries get flown to las Vegas. who owns the helicopter service the doctors at the hospital own the company. If your older and need care this is not your home.
City government is like at the JR high level meaning student government. They want to raise taxes so they can build new exits onto the town to benifit KMRC's second doctor owned hospital with LARGER helicopter pads. They allowed a $250,000 splash pad to be built in a park in a slum neighborhood. The splash pad is a can in the air that dumps water every few seconds for you to run under. total retail value $3000.00 water feature found at any pool place. our city government spent $250,000 on it and now spend $40,000.00 per year to maintain it. all your tax dollars at work. oh and it broke and I mean broke the first year used. and still is down after the uneducated kids using it hit the thing with bats to make it dump water more.
Bird land is an area of run down mobiles and drug labs. YES we are the Meth capital of Arizona. We have more drugs here than Mexico can smuggle in to the us. and the crime to fit it. Our police are uneducated freaks. they all weigh over 350 to 400 pounds each. you will call them out because a meth head broke into your home ON CAMERA and they tell you we know who he is and we can't arrest him or her just because he or she is on a camera doing it REALLY! these freaks are afraid to write a speeding ticket. But if your from out of state LOOK out they will find or plant something on you to put you away to make it look like they are working. so they don't have to arrest a church member.
Long story here i could go on, but if you want a nice place to live this is NOT it. This is a place for people who go to the church with the big temples and breed kids like pups and take on 7 wives. heck the child molester Warren Jeffs was not arrested here in KIngman by mistake he was being hidden here by the church until the federal heat got to hot for them to hide him.And they threw him to the wolves to benifit themselves. Like i said keep the medal to the pedal and keep going west or east and save yourself a headache. YOU will be SORRY if you move here.

| If people cared, this could be a decent place - 2/13/2018
This review is more for New Kingman/Butler, but since they're both considered Kingman by the post office and realtors, I'm posting this here. Anyway, some points go for both neighboring areas.
I've lived here over three years, and this is what I've observed. The area is pretty scenic, surrounded by beautiful mountains in all directions, and some home areas are even nice. The utility prices are fair and the internet is fast, but just a bit pricey. The shopping in Kingman is decent, but not what you'll experience in big cities, and the healthcare is alright. Much of the area consists of mobile homes, which are inexpensive and decent homes. But you must take care of them, like anything else. That's the problem. A good percentage of them are SEVERELY run down and/or abandoned. Many of them are rentals. A large percentage of the landlords don't seem to care AT ALL how the area looks, their renters living in complete squalor, which lowers the value of the surrounding properties. The tenants also don't care, some having mountains of trash in their yards.
The crime isn't bad here, but what is, is THE DOGS. There are more dogs than people here, and they are OFTEN running loose in the streets. I've twice seen children attacked by loose dogs, and have been personally charged around ten times by aggressive canines. Recently, a neighbor's dog jumped a fence between properties, and try to chase my 74 year old mother in her own yard. It's unlike anything I've ever seen in all the places I've lived in my life. People don't care AT ALL. It's like they think it's normal to have their raging dogs charge at you. So yeah, the horrible decay of the homes and the loose dogs are a total deal breaker.

| Cheap Property Tax but that's about it !!!!!!!!!! - 1/29/2018
We moved to Kingman a while back and we really didn't do our homework, our bad. We read all we could but should have rented before we purchased a home for a permanent move to Kingman. Like the headline says "Cheap Property Tax" but all of Mohave County is reasonable. Kingman has an almost 9.5% sales tax rate, is very dirty and gritty with indigent people begging (sometimes aggressively) on street corners, parking lots and parks. There are no major retailers in Kingman with large outlets except Wal-Mart and Home Depot. Want to go to Target, Kohl’s, BestBuy, Lowes, Hobby Lobby, Dillard’s, Bed Bath & Beyond, Trader Joes or anywhere else with a selection you’re going to travel to Lake Havasu, Bullhead City, Henderson NV or Phoenix
BTW to those of you that gave this review a thumbs down..... The Daily Miner Newspaper ran a comment from someone about a neighborhood area in Kingman named "BIRDLAND".
OPEN YOUR EYES PEOPLE AND IF YOU HAVEN'T BEEN OFF RT66 IN KINGMAN ACROSS FROM ABF FREIGHT YOU ARE IN FOR AS BIG OF A SURPRISE AS I WAS WHEN I SAW IT!!!!!!!! You don't have to be rich to be clean or to take pride in where you live so it's not about money. Nuff said :-)
I have to compliment the City of Kingman Police / Fire Depts, Kingman Parks & Recreation and Kingman Municipal Depts as they all do a wonderful job! The Kingman Airport is just a decaying industrial complex with the most horrid of roads and not one commercial airline scheduled flight (apparently it was an airport in WWII so they still call it an “Airport”) so again you need to travel to 2hrs to Las Vegas or 3hrs to Phoenix to catch a flight or pick up family coming to visit. The medical has an extremely low Doctor to patient ratio that leads to a 90+ day wait for an appointment. The KRMC Hospital is good, especially the ER but if you need a specific specialist you’ll be traveling to Las Vegas or Phoenix. Unfortunately we didn’t check out our builder either, Gates Homes owned by Mike and Monica Gates (the current Kingman Mayor) of the new home we purchased and the house literally fell down around us costing us many thousands in out of pocket in mechanical and constant miscellaneous repairs.
In closing I will say the climate is quite enjoyable and if having to drive an 1-3 hours to get anywhere works for you, then have at it :-)

| Beautiful weather and scenery. - 10/1/2017
I have enjoyed living here. Coming from the Midwest I love the sunshine and overall weather. We have met a lot of people from different states and some who have lived here all of their lives. Nice family and working class people for the most part. So many things to do and see right here in Kingman or a short scenic drive. We have lived here for a year. Coming from the Midwest we have found the weather to be wonderful. Many chain restaurants like Cracker barrel, Chili's, Golden Corral, Etc, along with many "mom and pop" places. We have also enjoyed the many activities Kingman and nearby towns have to offer. Fireworks on Memorial day on the river in Laughlin, fireworks in Kingman and Laughlin on the 4th, Keepers of the wild, Andy Devine days Rodeo, Andy Devine days, where we enjoyed a wonderful parade, car show and Historic Rt 66 presentation at the Kingman Museum. Many antique stores and quaint shops and restaurants downtown. Nothing to do? Really? Chillin on Beale which is FREE Cruise-In, Block Party and Movie night! Come and enjoy Classic Cars, music and a free movie. Free Movie night inside of Beale Celebrations,15 minutes up to the Hualapai mountains where you can enjoy cooler temps, hiking, picnic, and the beauty of the pine trees, and wildlife, Alpaca farm days, Farmers market on Saturdays, Mohave museum of History and Art, Craft shows in the Hualapai Mountains, Hiking, Veteran's day parade, Brews and brats Oktoberfest,RT 66 cruizers Halloween bash, 14 public parks, 2 public pools, 2 golf courses, The Kathryn Heidenreich Adult Center with MANY activities, Desert Diamond Distillery, Cella Winery, Diana's Cellar door, PLUS MANY activities in Laughlin, Lake Havasu,Oatman, Chloride, Grand Canyon West, and Bullhead city. Great to be able to sit outside without mosquitos, walk in the neighborhood and meet other neighbors. Kingman is a great place to live.

| Not perfect but I like it - 1/4/2017
We moved here last spring after living in San Bernardino Ca for over 30 years. I watched our lovely neighborhood nestled in the shadow of the mountains turn from suburban farms to ghetto/slum. As the city went bankrupt gangs moved in. Shootings, assaults, burglary were constant and when it became a sanctuary city it became very dangerous for seniors in iffy health to stay. For every wonderful family thrilled at the chance of a new life there came the criminals to take advantage of lax law enforcement. I was blessed with a few wonderful neighbors, I was cursed with an abundance of nightmare neighbors.
Is Kingman perfect, no but--- I am not afraid. I can sit in my yard at night and see stars and not be afraid of being robbed or worse. I can go to the desert and target shoot and not be treated like a gun crazy maniac. I can say merry Christmas without offending any one. The desert and mountains are heartbreaking beautiful. There is not much in the way of shopping etc. here but there is history in our rte. 66 and a unbelievably sweet old timey small time feel to the town I cherish. The people are colorful, down to earth and a pure delight. okay, I prefer real people to the cartoon characters I used to live among. I have fallen in love with Kingman and it's people. It may not be perfect but it is perfect enough for me. If you are tired of pretentious phonies Kingman is a breath of fresh air. Cost of living is sane, it is safe to be politically conservative, patriotic and Christian. It is my chosen home, It will never be featured in any magazine articles featuring luxury homes and a luxurious lifestyle. Thank God. It is down home good people who love family, God and country. Yes there is poverty and drugs and imperfections but the good far outweighs the bad. It is my forever home, I have never been happier.

| Living in Kingman - 9/1/2016
Absolutely the worst place to live. The health care is nothing more than a greed corporation as there is one hospital here and they run every aspect of your health care(a misnomer if there ever was one)6 pap smears 4 mammograms and a lot of fear and anxiety later I went to another DR.in another state and have since refused to go to any DR. or facility here that is associated with KRMC and they all are because I found out that my pap and mammo came back normal and have since gotten them elsewhere. The air quality is horrible because this place is surrounded by mine's(copper etc.) and when the wind blow's which it does frequently those chemicals are what you are breathing and NO oversite on air or water quality or little. Because they (corrupt)politicians are letting hay farm's come in they are using up all of the ground water it is estimated that this place will run out of water in 2-3 year's. Education is a joke they rank at the bottom.Hot,dry and absolutely nothing to do here unless you travel for 4-5 hours. Do extensive checking before you move try to get past the" small town,route66,cheap"hype and dig deep. If you are on S.S or have children you better be prepared for nothing for your children to do and for seniors be prepared for high medical, rent and groceries. I have nothing good to say about this place so I am moving ASP.Corruption, greed, and everything bad including high drug abuse.

| Arm pit - 11/13/2015
I moved out of California to get away from the over taxing, over regulations and the blatant attempt of the liberals in Commiefornia to take away my second amendment rights. I invested all my money in land and houses in this country, not knowing that it was being run by idiots. Since I bought my properties the property tax has increased by 300%. Now they don't even let the property owners appeal their assessed taxes. A large corporation has started farming large areas of this desert, they are growing alfalfa of all things. They are in the process of depleting our finite aquifer without a peep from the idiots in charge.
WARNING TO ALL, KINGMAN IS A DYING CITY AND MOHAVE COUNTY IS RUN BY IDIOTS "DON"T MOVE HERE!!!!".

| Kingman-Mohave County Neighborhoods Left To Decay - 12/6/2014
First, I'd like to address the comment about Arizona being populated by 'gun-toters' in tank tops, shorts and being 'yahoos'. That was gross negligence on the part of someone who listed his credentials as a professional and untrue. Another Democrat who has located to a Red state to take advantage of our beautiful areas, but slams its populace at the same time.
Now, on to my review:
I live in Kingman-Mohave County. This means that neither the police, county inspectors, environmental health officers, or, animal control give one whit about its residents. Not one. The town tax collectors are on the ball, though..
Our neighborhood began in the 1980s as a retirement area of elderly who bought quality mobile homes for their day and lived quite nicely - clean yards, gardens, etc.
Today, as these people are dying off, many of these homes are slumlord owned. There are broken fences, garbage in the yards and people keep dogs outside - hot weather, freezing weather, starving, many times. Also, these poor creatures do what they do when left alone and ignored - bark constantly. I was told by one AC officer that dogs can go 'a few days without food'. Maybe so, but this guy hadn't missed any meals, trust me. Many people have three plus dogs, which, requires kennel licensing. I vote every cycle to defund the AC - they are useless.
Tenants are allowing other people to live on the rental properties in campers - completely against county regulations. But if no one submits a complaint, who cares? There are homes with several junked cars. No one cares.
The town of Kingman is ok, enough. Some nice parks and a very fine little library. There is, however, next to no entertainment, unless, you bowl or enjoy biker bars. There are only two restaurants I might recommend for dinner and one of these is Chilis.
Kingman Regional Hospital has fine doctors and I have received very good care with them. No complaints at all.
As soon as my husband and I can get the county to force the slumlord who owns the dump across from our home to clean it up, we're selling.
I do not recommend Kingman AZ, either city or county areas, for a move.
