The mean people aren't native San Diegans. - 4/5/2009
I am a native San Diegan and I can relate to the people that are saying that "San Diegans" are callous and mean and don't give a whoot...but let me add to that....we get every village idiot known to man coming to our city (it used to be a town)...the ones we get are mainly from the east coast, these are the ones with the attitudes...trust me, and I wish they'd quit giving San Diego and NATIVE San Diegans a bad rap. The climate is good, sure the prices are high, but you get what you pay for....the people that have stayed and "given it a fair shot" that have negative attitudes: PLEASE LEAVE, YOU'RE CREATING A BAD VIBE IN OUR

Public transportation - 3/26/2009
No surprise - San Diego has a pretty bad public transportation system. The city is a bit better.... but the county's system is substandard at best. I know they are trying to make improvements - hopefully things turn around before we run out of oil or

Can anyone say Beverly Hillbillies?! "Californy" - 2/13/2009
San Diego reminds me a lot of the show The Beverly Hillbillies, only change Beverly Hills to San Diego. Lots of "San Diego Hillbillies" came out here from somewhere else and are kind of fish out of water. Also, those that don't "strike it rich" are busy working, can't enjoy the beach or the "lifestyle".
y'all sing along!
Come and listen to a story about a man named Jeb
you see, ol' Jeb's a millionaire,
Kinfolk said Jeb move away from there
Said "Californy" is the place you ought to be
So they loaded up the truck and moved to San Diego.
City of San Diego, that is.
Swimmin pools, people who think they are movie stars.
Stuck up people won't give you time of day.
Your neighbor is from Mexico, don't speak your lingo
Your job pays you peanuts but the weather is just fine.
Too bad you can't enjoy it cause your stuck inside
The San Diego

San Diego Gets Better With Time - 2/2/2009
I'm sure the biggest complainers of San Diego are living in the bland, boring suburbs of this area You have no clue of what it's like to live within 5 miles of downtown, without kids. Please feel free to move to North Carolina, Texas or Tennessee if you think you'll find utopia
