Overall, it seems that the majority of users enjoy living in Fort Collins, citing its friendly community, outdoor activities, and overall quality of life. However, there are also concerns about the rising cost of living, traffic, and the impact of the city's growth on local businesses.

Hi, I can transfer thru my job to relocate to CO, but I would have to live in Loveland, or Longmont area and interested in living in Fort Collins. What is the job situation like there right now. Am thinking about commuting for a while, because I would really like to live in Fort Collins. Then look for something, is the employment situation looking ok? Also, I am going to be renting a place over the internet probably, are there neighborhoods I should stay away from? Or even if I rent in Loveland, are there neighborhoods there I should worry about..? Older single woman looking here!  Read More

Home Sweet Home - 4/19/2006
My parents settled in Fort Collins after I graduated from high school, but I have lived there off and on since then. Everytime my husband and I return, we just feel like we are coming home. Every other place we look to live is simply a comparison to Fort Collins. It's a college town, so education is important. Crime is low, we feel safe everywhere. It is rich in the arts, culture, and a great little downtown area! We love how clean and well planned out the city is. Large clean steets, nice medians, cross walks, large north-south and east-west streets for easy travel, greenways, bike lanes, walking/bike trails, close to camping and hiking, the list goes on. If you want to decide where to put your kids in school, it will be difficult because they all feed into four great high schools. If you have to pull any negative out of me it would be that there is a lot of growth to keep up with, not a lot of diversity, train runs through center of town... I'm pulling at straws here because I love Read More

What can I say except you don't get much better than this! Lots of sunshine, 4 seasons, great sense of community, fresh air, did I metion hiking, biking, skiing just out your back door. This is a great place to raise a family a good size town with a small town feel. I have to agree that the public school systems here are the best they really focus on the kids getting an education and they are held responsible for that! I have lived in alot of places in my life and there is no better place than Fort Read More
