Get me out of here. - 12/1/2019
OMG so annoying that it takes 10 minutes to get out of the subdivision. Huge congested maze that is one big mess! Couldn’t wait to leave. Read More

Goodbye Pingree Grove! - 11/30/2019
Pingree Grove has no little downtown area or any town. No church or post office or library! Pingree Grove has nothing for Veterans Day Celebrations or Memorial Day and won’t even put an American flag out. For Christmas they call the celebration Holiday Tree not Christmas tree so they don’t get people mad. Yuck thumbs down. Read More

Construction - 11/10/2019

Right next to Elgin, not good! - 11/2/2019
Pingree Grove Illinois is down the street 5 min away from one of the most disgusting and horrible areas of Illinois and America, Elgin Illinois! Major major Elgin development coming to land that Pingree grove sold because they are so broke. Soon Pingree grove will be surrounded by Elgin stores and strip malls and Elgin townhomes and subdivisions. Area is done for! Read More

Moving in 22 days I’m so excited!!!!!!!! - 11/1/2019
I go to the rec center and everyone is speaking Spanish, I come home and my neighbors are blasting Spanish, I take my dog for a walk and everyone is speaking Spanish on the trails. My kids wait for the bus and all the students are speaking Spanish. My family is moving very soon and this is not the same area or old Pingree Grove. Auto thefts and break ins and my neighbors vehicle got stolen right from his driveway. Cartel members and illegals and Hispanic gangs throughout the subdivision and in the townhomes. Read More

Glad I’m gone and moved - 10/3/2019
I wasn’t to happy living here and moved last month. High bills and property tax and I moved to Genoa on 3 acres for cheaper than I was paying for property tax in Cambridge lakes Pingree Grove subdivision. Everyone is always in a huge rush in Pingree grove and it’s just a subdivision of Chicago/ Elgin area people to live. It’s not really a town and just a subdivision. Read More

Absolutely horrible - 8/21/2019
So congested and so many rows and rows of townhomes. You are right next to Elgin yuck. Pingree grove has no south border and all that land has been sold to Elgin and they will build thousands of homes and apartments all across the street from Pingree grove police department and all down route 20, sickening! One of the best days of my life was moving from Cambridge lakes Pingree grove Illinois. Everyone moves in and out and I had 11 different neighbors in 5 years. Everyone is so unfriendly and rude here and no community feel. Read More

I lost $70,000 buying in Pingree Grove - 3/4/2019
My neighbors have block parties with mariachi bands and taco venders. I try to relax on my patio and Spanish music blasts loud for hours from neighbors backyards. Lowriders and Mexico flags everywhere and I go to the rec center and everyone is speaking Spanish. My car window has been smashed and my husband caught Hispanic guys in his garage at midnight stealing stuff. Pingree Grove is just a subdivision with no town and no church or library or post office or park district, just one giant congested subdivision and Elgin is building 4,000 homes and apartments all around Cambridge lakes Pingree Grove and it will only get worse here. 35% of Pingree Grove does not know English and this is not the same town as 5 years ago. My family and friends warned me not to purchase here and I did not listen and now my home is worth $220,000 and I paid $300,000 for it and $9,700 a year in property tax. If you want a nice little friendly country town than move to Hampshire Illinois! Read More
