Born and rased in Columbus, MS and I love MY City!!! Shopping is not as good as larger cities but you can find some Great shopping places for good prices. Dinning... We Love to eat know how to ccok and we have good food!! The same activities u find in larger cities can can be found in Columbus! While visiting Columbus you will definately meet some Great 'one of a kind' people! I've lived in Columbus for a little while, having moved from a larger metro. If not for the lack of quality entertainment, the low general quality of people, the corrupt local politics, the corrupt business people, the crime, the small-mindedness, the absense of good food, the distance from any decent shopping, bad golf courses, tornadoes, the lackluster social scene and a pervasive resistance to join the 21st century, this would be just another average quaint town.
