Rugby, North Dakota is a small town that has much to offer visitors. It boasts of a downtown area with unique shops and restaurants, as well as many outdoor activities. Visitors can enjoy fishing in one of the many lakes nearby, or biking along scenic trails. There are plenty of opportunities for camping, and even hunting. Rugby also has a renowned golf course and is known for its art scene with monthly art festivals. Visitors have had great reviews about their experiences in Rugby, noting the friendly locals and wonderful atmosphere of the town. There is something to do for everyone here - from shopping to outdoor activities - making it an excellent destination for all types of travelers.

Surprise! This is actually a nice town. - 7/21/2021
I've lived here for 10 years now, longer than I thought I would. I also thought I was moving to Minot when I moved to this state. My husband got settled here a few months before the rest of the family, because his mom and other relatives live here. Anyway, I like it. Reminds me of the small gold rush towns in the state where I used to live, without the gold, of course, lol. The "history" in historical places is a bit more recent, but in the western part of ND, they do have ancient Native American hieroglyphics on a rock, which is cool. The City recently defaulted on a $5 million USDA loan jointly with the county on a local prison. In addition, the City is planning a $5 million street project financed primarily with special assessments.
