I am curious how the job situation is in Asheville. My husband I have been sending resumes to bascially all over the state of NC. We got a response to his resume from Asheville. I havent been to Asheville and from what I have read it seems more liberal than other parts of the state. Not that I am a die hard liberal but all I hear is how conservation and churchy NC can be. I was wondering if blue collar jobs are plentiful and if its more of a professional type environment. My husband is a Machinist and I am wondering if anyone knows if there are many opportunites in Asheville for that field. I have to admit I was quite shocked at the housing prices. Compared to other parts of NC, Asheville seems quite high. How is car insurance prices? Thanks for any info.
