Looking for home outside of Asheville

We are wanting to move to western NC or SC area for milder weather and beautiful surroundings. We don't want anything downtown. What areas within 100 miles or so of Asheville would you recommend?

Tanya The beauty of Asheville is you don't have to far to feel like your in the country and still be able to go into the city at night and home in less than 30 min. I recommend North Ashevillie, Weaverville,Mars Hill,Marshall & Fairview. I am a Realtor here and town and have had the pleasure of relocating several families.
