I feel sorry for the person who referred to Augusta as 'Disgusta'. They probably never had the chance to visit and acquaint themselves with the rest of the city and its surroundings. I know exactly where the Medical College of Georgia is located at and to put it nicely, Yes, if you stayed only in that area (10 blocks square appx.) it would seem like a boring place. But get out drive around! Visit Martinez and Evans (you won't know when you leave Augusta and enter the other cities; its all grown together). Head for North Augusta where a majority of the upper-class reside (again, a short five-minute drive across the state line GA/SC). There's plenty to see and do in this great place. Check it out sometime!!
