Bye-bye Beautiful Bend

Bend is a beautiful, bustling and friendly town and it is the largest in Central Oregon. However, my husband and I are retirees as well as transplanted Southern Californians who are not used to the cold winters. The novelty has worn off of having four distinct seasons. Also the health insurance coverage in Oregon is more expensive and limited compared to Southern CA. We are looking to relocate in 2 to 3 years.
