I have lived in Boerne (the area, not the small town itself) since 2006. Ignore the small minded folks who make reviews trying to discourage independent and tolerant folks from moving here. There are lots of us enjoying the community and those who want to keep it "small" are both in the minority and losing ground every day. Boerne is a great place to raise a family and get away from the big-city life of San Antonio. Boerne is at the doorstep of the most beautiful part of Texas, the Texas Hill Country. Restaurants, churches, parks, lakes, rivers, movie theaters, and world class shopping are no more than a 20 minute drive from most parts of Boerne.
