I couldn't have said it better myself! Loved visiting Charleston and Isle of Palms but didn't know what this area was really like until moving here, WITHOUT doing my homework. Plan to move away in 2008 since we have to be in our house for two years or pay capital gains tax! SC itself isn't that great.
