Pretty big city with a hometown feel

People are very nice, the news crews do a good job, jobs are plentiful, traffic is not too bad, cost of living is quite reasonable, and nightlife is hopping. However, Crimes are on the rise (basically murders, robbings, and arson) and gangs are getting out of hand. The public school system is absolutely horrible though - Charlotte is a decent place to live and raise kids, but prepare to hire tutors or send them to private school.
