This is the first time I've been on this site and I am shocked at what some locals are saying about Charlotte! One guy is paying $1100 a month for rent because he lives Uptown. Well yes, but you can also take that $1100 and have yourself a BRAND NEW 3 bedroom house here! A couple of people mentioned the city was dead after rush hour?!!!!! LOL The Charlotte nightlife is so hopping, they had to put more officers on duty to control the crowds! You don't have go by me, just go to www.lazyday.com and www.carolinanightlife.com which will also prove that this is a great place for singles in which Charlotte was rated among the top cities by Forbes magazine! And as for meeting new people?!!!
