City is obsessed with growth at all costs but with no provision for new parks or green space. Business leaders want Charlotte to be considered a "world class city" and yet a preacher was able to cause the shut down of cultural funding because he objected to the staging of a Pulitzer prize play. Violent crime and pollution are much higher than in New York City and traffic is almost as bad. In general ,a great place to live if you are a banker.
