Review of Charlotte, North Carolina

Seeking an excellent high school and basketball pr
Star Rating - 7/2/2006
Hello,
My family has decided to relocate to Charlotte in August 2006. We are looking for a community that will offer some diversity since we are African American , but will offer affordable housing under 130K range. More importantly one of my children has some learning disabilities and needs a smaller school enviroment. I would like to consider the new Ardey Kell high school, but the area homes and apartments are too expensive. Also in reading some of the comments about the problems in the CMS system I am not sure if I want go in that direction. I have heard Fort mIlls, Concord, Hustsville and Mint Hills are possible places to consider buying or renting.

I would like to heard from some one who can help point us in the right direction. I might consider a private or catholic school, but would prefer to go public due to better resources for my high schooler. They are capable just needs extra help to succeed.

Thanks,
Moving from Ohio
