hey, charlotte is a great place to live. great place to work- houses and apartments are cheaper and brand new. manufacture job up to 45,000 a year just labor. i don't know during this recession, yet before that i was always to find a job the same day if i needed one- great place to raise your kids- but not a lot of place to visit though. it is a city where you will never regret to live.
