Charlotte, NC...why bad reviews??

I'm really surprised to see all of the negative responses to Charlotte. I love living here, and have lived here since May 2006. Everyone is so friendly, and whoever thinks crime and traffic are that bad here, you really need to get to other cities of comparable size or larger and see that it really is not that bad at all. There are good opportunities here, and there is plenty to do within reasonable accomodation, and I love the being in "the city" without the big city feel. I personally love being here...but to each his own...
