Would you mind sharing more? My husband and I are looking to move from Chicago. He is African and I am Caucasian. One thing we love about Chicago is the great diversity and culture. I think there is always a sense of racism coming from certain people, but we've never had any issues here. Also, there are so many interracial couples that we don't feel out of place. We also would like to start a family soon and want to raise our children in an area that is open to different cultures and not racist. Our main reason for moving is to escape the cold and snowy winters. We'd appreciate any further suggestions or experience. Even info for particular neighborhoods that may be better to live in or explore in the Charlotte area. Thanks so much!
