Charlotte is in an excellent location. Thats the best part. This city is so boring. Especially the University area. Schools are beyond overcrowded. Southern hospitality is a myth. Plenty rebel flags here. Still mad about the war. Just want "yankees" to spend their money and go home...back north that is. Want everything in little uptown instead of developing the city. Just cuttin trees and throwin houses up EVERYWHERE else. We'll worry about the roads and congestion later. 80% of the city isn't from here so there is no identity here. Everybody stays home cause there aint much else to do...except go to wal mart. Money comes first here for sure. You cant walk anywhere in any neighborhood...they dont believe in sidewalks. Quality of life is bad. Nice weather though. Hard to meet other singles though. School system is soooo segregated. Just a bunch of phony people here. Bible belt my butt! Everything is getting more expensive. Taxes going up all the time. Now we got a Nascar HOF to pay for. School system is forcing taxes to increase even more. Suburbs are very country. Nothing wrong with that but could use a little more to do. They are nice and clean though. At least "real" people live there. Bartenders, waitresses, etc. are VERY PREJUDICE. Too many franchise restaraunts. Hard to find a real good one. It's a wanna be major city but still wants to ACT like the bible belt. Finally the lottery is...acceptable here. We're not too good for it after all. So many people drove to SC to play. Even with gas prices. We made headlines for price gouging gas. I'm outta here. - 28215/east is where people start out here at. It's cheaper. Most culturally diverse side of town. STILL little to do there. Lot of immigrants, blacks and whites live on the east side. Property value not as good. Crime aint all that bad in charlotte. same as any other city.
