Charlotte climate

Charlotte has a moderate climate - very nice in the fall and spring. Summer can be hot and humid, but you can escape to the mountains with a 2 hour drive, and the seashore with a 4 hour drive. Winter temperatures are tolerable - rarely do we have snow, and when it comes it usually melts quickly. More of a problem are the occasional ice storms in winter that bring down power lines.
