Traffic not as bad as you may hear

Unless one is commuting to the Lake Norman area from uptown, the commute traffic here is so much less than Atlanta or even Raleigh/ Durham area. A 30 minute significant rush hour is about all we experience, with I-77 being the worst for congestion.
