Safe town with something always happening.

In Fairport there is always something planned - lots of parades (sometimes I think they come up with any old reason for a parade), concerts in the park, Canal Days - festival type thing. You can leave your doors unlocked at night in your driveway - although most don't. Most of the town is high income, which makes living here very, verrrrrrrrrrrry hard on those of us without a very big income. I moved here for the good school and thank God my daughter is moving this year. I am totally tapped out. I don't even have money for retirement. (She better support me!) Great place to live, great Rec center, expensive as h$%^&!
