PLEASE HELP ME FIND A CITY THAT"S GREAT FOR A sing

HI! can anyone give me advice as to where i should move. I thought about the following states delaware,maryland, texas, florida, and arizona.
I want to settle down and build a nice nest egg. i currnetly live in NY. i have lived here for 30 years and have nothing to show for it!Please help me!
i have a bachelors degree in psychology and 10 yrs administrative experience and another 10 years of experince in the education feild.I have references. i want someplace safe. i had a bad experience moving out on my own when i moved to new jersey!what is the best place to look for a job? help me!
