People always are looking to relocate to Florida. But what they really need to do is .... their homework before moving and then expecting to find a job. The Sarasota/Manatee county areas are well above the national unemployment rate, the current unemployment rate for our region is 12.8% which makes finding a job here is very hard. The region does not have enough diversity in its industry to support the economyfor this region. The weather is great ...but most people are surprised by the low pay rates and the hard time they have by trying to find a job once they get here. So do your homework before you "just move".
