Hi, if you have never stayed in Florida for more than 3 months, then I will strongly suggest that you do not move. If you do not have any family or close friends here, then do not move. My husband and I made the mistake of moving here from Long Island last May and we are making plans to move back this August. I do not have any family or friends here. My husband has some family here that lives in Orlando (we are in Brandon) and one friend in Riverview (who we never see). After about 3 months, reality sets in and you realize how much you miss your family and friends. I thought that I was going to be okay here without them around but I miss everyone so much. Regardless if you see your friends and family a few times now, trust me when I tell you that you will miss those few times. If you want more info, I will be happy to share or speak to you.
