Too much heat, too much humidity, too many people!

I have lived in the Jacksonville Florida area since I was 10 years old and I am now past the 50 year old mark. The weather here is intolerable during the last spring through early fall months because of the heat and humidity. I don't know if it's my age or an actual change in the temperature because of global warming or what but, it's almost to the point where you break out sweating as soon as you walk out your front door. It gets so hot during the summer months temperature wise, then add the humidity and it's unbearable and I can't even make myself leave the house anymore unless I absolutely have to do so! The only people that might enjoy living here are the people that submerge their life in water sports so that they are in the water when they are outdoors. Enjoying the in the great parks, beaches, amusement parks etc. isn't even an option anymore during the daytime hours in these months, it's miserable! Additionally, the population has gotten so large that the trips across town, that use to normally take you a little while because of the size of Jacksonville land-wise, now takes you twice as long. And, the people didn't use to be so rude!
