Moving from Florida

We are moving from Florida. Housing,water,electricity,garbage,phone,car and housing insurance, and food prices have increased so that a three member family has a hard time keeping up with everything. Forget having extra money to spend for Disney. We are planning on moving around Land Between the Lakes in Ky. Any info would be appreciated. Are there jobs and what is the area like?
