Dogs never shut up here

Foresthill is visually beautiful. Big pine trees and gorgeous mountains. However there is a serious barking dog problem. Some dogs bark 24/7 and rude owners let them. We lived here for 3 years and had to move to colfax so we could have some peace. Animal control from placer county is no help. They just act like you are sniveling. My elderly mother was so stressed by all the barking she wouldn't visit. All I can say is this place should be renamed to Dogpatch.

Are you serious?! We have bears, mtn lions and coyote and and you are complaining about dogs? We have dogs for a reason, they are a security measure besides a family pet. Dogs keep bears and mtn lions away; they also deter vandals and thief s. Go back to the city!
