Fort Collins, I call it home

I have lived in many different states and have travelled extensively in all 48 continental states. Living in Fort Collins for seven plus years and a transplant from another HIGHLY RATED place to live, Johnson County KS - Fort Collins stands heads and shoulders above any place I have every lived. And I have travelled extensively in all 48 continental states. The climate is a secret that I hope DOESN'T get out....mild in the winter, mostly mild in the summer, cools off tremendously at night (5000 ft. plus altitude does that), relatively still cheaper than other Front Range cities, excellent school system, great parks and city infrastructure. Hey the city has been rated as one of the most educated, one of the best places to retire, one of the best places to raise a family, one of the best places for active lifestyles...by many different media- Forbes, Money, USAtoday, etc.. Within 30 days of moving here I decided it was the place I wanted to stay. EVEN to the point of not taking a job when my company was bought out and offered two different jobs in two other major cities (Atlanta and Des Moines). I took my chances and stayed put because I love the area that much. Best decision I ever made. I call Fort Collins HOME!!!
