The previous statement about Floridians moving to Carolinas, that's not true, at least here in NC. All of our newcomers are pure yankees:)
I think whatever part of the country you move to, if there is a huge contingency of people moving with you, from the same area, you will be perceived negatively by some. For example, here in NC if people move from NY, NJ, PA etc there are those that aren't too happy about that, but if someone comes here from Utah, no one cares.
