Friendly people, small town attitude, big city benefits without the aloofness of the neighboring BIG CITY. Great museums, great local sports venues, very reasonable cost of living and housing. The only town I have ever seen the cops actually direct traffic, to keep it moving, after a traffic accident. Still growing strong. Beautiful County Court House, dating to the 1800's. We do have some traffic issues at the usual going to and from work times. Hopefully the roads will be expanded soon without being the toll roads that the current politicians in office are clammoring for.

Wrong, sky high property taxes, bad traffic all of Loop 820, hot,humid,muggy weather. Insurance for home and autos the highest in the nation. Electrical bills average 450.00 a month in the horrible summer that last from May to late October.
