Review of Frisco, Texas

The Real Windy City
Star Rating - 4/15/2011
My wife and I moved to Frisco from the Chicago area in October of 2010 and we absolutely love the north Dallas area. Although we have not yet experienced the heat of a Dallas summer yet, we both enjoyed the very mild winter. Except for two weeks of snow and ice and highs in the thirties, the rest of the winter was a piece of cake compared to the long dreary Midwest winters that we experienced for most of our lives.

For the most part, the heart of the Dallas winter consists of high temps in the low 50's-low 60's which is really nice, but the best part is the amount of winter sunshine that you still get. Most days are sunny which plays such a positive role on your mood. The only drawback to this area is the constant wind. This by far the windiest area I have ever seen, which is quite a statement coming from Chicago.
