We are here with the military, and goldsboro isn't all that bad, but most of our single friends hate it, since there really is no nightlife. It is a small town, but housing prices are driven up be the fact that everyone knows what you get for BAH and charges that for rent, or increases the price for homes for sale because the officers can afford it, which is why we live on base! Basically the military drives everything and if this base was ever closed the whole town would die.
