I have lived in Goldsboro most of my life. Born and raised here. I did leave a few times, but I have always come back, mostly due to family.
Goldsboro needs better transportation options.
Basically, if you do not have a car, you are in a mess.
There is the Gateway Bus System, but it is limited to inner city areas only.
And even then it is not reliable.
There are only a few taxi companies and they are so expensive.
I like Goldsboro, it is a nice place to raise a child. It is racially diverse, yet most of the time people do not have a problem with race.
The job market is not so great, but overall, if they could provide more jobs and better transportation, it could be a great place to live.
