Review of Greensboro, North Carolina

friendly
Star Rating - 3/29/2009
I have lived in Greensboro for a little over three years now. It's surprisingly diverse with a range of ethnic food markets and ethnicity in general. The city is a fairly green one. It houses one of the most environmentally friendly hotels in the US (the Proximity). The people are friendly and down to earth. This is a great place to send your kid off to college or raise a family. The only downside to this is that there isn't as much nightlife as there would be in larger cities. Most stores are closed my 10:00 PM and the bars are closed at 2:00AM. The downtown area is small, but fun. It is a very arts friendly place as well.
