The upstate area of South Carolina is a wonderful place to raise a family. The people are friendly and the amenities are bountiful. The weather is mild with only a few weeks of extreme heat or cold possible.
You will be within three hours of Myrtle Beach on the Atlantic Ocean and within two hours of the Great Smoky Mountains.
