Ideal retirement location

Have lived here 7 years. Moved here from a large Midwestern city. Wonderful place to retire if you like fairly long winters and don't mind 150+ inches of snow every year. Houses are affordable, traffic is no problem, and crime rate if pretty low. We have a wonderful 23-bed hospital and several clinics in the region. When you need to do major shopping it is only 115 miles to Duluth. Duluth has 2 major hospitals and Wausau, WI also has a large hospital so health care is readily available. And I might finish by mentioning the absolutely fantastic scenery here. The north woods, lakes, and of course, Lake Superior only 20 miles away.
