Review of Jacksonville, Florida

The River City
Star Rating - 3/16/2017
I'm not sure I would want to raise a family here. The schools are pretty awful. Crime is high, and it's practically unsafe to ride a bicycle anywhere.

With that said, I love this town. I live on the West side, with great houses at low cost and plenty of trees. Jacksonville has the largest park area per capita of any city in the US. I love the rivers, the access to beaches, the proximity of places like St. Augustine, Flagler Beach, and Daytona. Great transit, an international airfield, and more. I'm happy to be here, I love my house and my neighborhood. I walk my dogs daily and say hello to everyone I meet and they respond in kind.
