A huge portion of Jax is a high-crime, unkempt, litter of concrete blocks that has systematically excluded newcomers to the area (look at JSO data). I would never willingly move here again without a substantial career motivation (i.e., a promotion large enough that I could live in the few nice parts of Jax in communities of new people). avoid
