Bad for kids that aren't born there. The High School is crappy and they put the greatest emphasis on athletics instead of education. The grocery store is a defacto monopoly granted by the Kemmerer city council long ago. It's high priced with a crappy selection and a particularly nasty brand called "Western Family". The local medical services aren't the best in the world either. They're good at handing out pills and treating your basic illnesses. Do not go to them with anything serious. Take the 2 hour drive to Salt Lake City to visit a real hospital or clinic. This town is dying a slow death. We celebrate the day we left.
