Viva Las Vegas!!

Well, I guess it's the same for everyone. Where ever you live you seem to have a bad attitude about it. As I do about where I am originally from. However, with that being said, I have to say that I have been around the country, and have experienced many things. And I can honestly say that I think Vegas is one of the best places to live. Again, this is based on MY opinion. And My experience. Nothing more nothing less. There is so many things that you can love about Las Vegas. First of all, the job market seems to be alot better than alot of other places. Especially if you have a specialty or a career profession that you can use. It seems no matter what you do, you can find a job. I also see that for the most part, people seem to be happier here. Just in general. Maybe that's because they get paid better and have more respect from their employers. Sure you may have to work some day and night shifts and all of that, but, I hate to burst your bubble, this happens everywhere. But, in Vegas, at least you get paid for it. I come from Utah, and can tell you that it is common place for employers to work you overtime and not pay you for it. Regardless of you chosen profession. I was a teacher, working for a college that was supposed to be one of the better ones. And they were only concerned with one thing. And that was to cram as many students as possible into the classroom, go over their own state policy on student to teacher ratio, not provide enough materials, overwork and underpay their staff. And when things got them in trouble with the state, they would just "Downsize" or "Reorganize" and you would just get demoted at a moment's notice, for no apparent reason, so that they could show more capital at the end of the fiscal. Anyway, this is just one of the things I have experienced. It doesn't matter, my husband is also a professional. He is a General Contractor by trade with over 30 years of experience. And yet, with all his experience and great reputation, he still has to struggle to get half the national average in pay and has to do amazing and very unreasonable things just to get work.
People in Utah want steak but only want to pay for hamburger. They figure they are a little better than most people just because they belong to "the club" and are therefore entitled to pay less for more.
Anyway, I have experienced in Vegas that if you are willing to work hard and be responsible and reliable, most often you can have a pretty good job, making pretty good m
